Is Mötley Crüe star and solo rocker Vince Neil reviving plans to build another tavern on the eastside?
Boasting easy access to the Strip and McCarran International Airport, last November, Neil’s ongoing business associates signed a lease at the McCarran Village mixed-use center on Tropicana Avenue under the name Tatuado Tavern.
While all has been quiet since then, earlier this month the 3,000-square-foot, former Grind Burger and Tequila Restaurante space received permission to install 15 gaming machines, overseen by local route operators Sartini Gaming.
The venue is now called Vince Neil’s Tatuado | Eat, Drink, Party, the same name as his four-and-a-half-year-old restaurant and bar at the Circus Circus resort. The sequel will be much smaller than the 14,000-square-foot Strip location.
Vince Neil’s Tatuado Wild Side Tavern debuted in Pahrump in late 2015, under the Tatuado Hospitality Management Group company umbrella, which also shares the same company address at the lessee of this new concept.
While details of any possible expansion have yet to be confirmed, the highly visible property is described as a dormant ”turn-key” opportunity, complete with an existing kitchen for a quick return to action.
