SANTA MONICA — Chefs and Too Hot Tamales Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken plant to open a new Mexican restaurant on the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and 20th Street by this fall. MONTICELLO, NEW YORK — Chef Scott Conant debuted a new Italian steakhouse at Resorts World Catskills. Cellaio features aged steaks, antipasti, salads, and pastas made in house. A wine cellar features more than 500 wines, which can be uncorked at an interactive wine decanting station. Cellaio marks Conant’s fifth restaurant in his SC Restaurant Group. Choices include heirloom tomato soup with whipped ricotta and basil; organic baby mixed green salad with Creole spiced croutons, sherry vinaigrette, shaved manchego cheese, teardrop tomatoes, and red onion; French onion soup with fontina baguette crouton; or beef carpaccio with parmesan reggiano, wild arugula, crispy capers, and roasted garlic emulsion.
