It will be a huge year in Las Vegas for fans of conveyor belt dining.Newcomer Konbea Belt Sushi has debuted in Chinatown with its own spin on the concept to help it stand out from the future crowd.
Located inside a white box-shaped building on Spring Mountain Road, Konbea is sending out sushi dishes to revolve around the restaurant on color-coded plates, priced at $2.50, $3, $3.50, and $9.99 for options such as Dungeness crab with black bean sauce, or “salt & pepper garlic.”
Diners who want to purchase individual custom dishes will have their plates delivered to their seats by a separate, automated miniature train, playing a musical jingle and politely asking diners to “please collect your food.”
Konbea is also offering a $25.99 per person, all-you-can-eat menu run in tandem with the conveyor belt choices, and for an additional $6, Dungeness crab will be included with the selections.
