The Palms started its renovations in the summer of 2017 with new dining options, then upped the ante with restaurants such as Bobby Flay’s seafood and sushi haven Shark, Michael Symon’s Mabel’s BBQ and its “meateasy” Sara’s, and Marc Vetri’s Italian restaurant Vetri Cucina. Greene St. Kitchen, and Kaos, a nightclub and dayclub, opened. The $690 million renovation includes Scotch 80 Prime with its menu featuring Kobe beef and a $3 million whiskey collection, Apex Social Club at the top of the resort, and Camden Cocktail Lounge off the casino floor. And the artwork, a treasure trove of fascinating pieces include a shark divided into three, a Banksy original, and Damien Hirst sculptures towering over the pools, make the Palms a must see just for the culturing curious. Still on the way — the Michelin-starred dim sum restaurant Tim Ho Wan.
