A Los Angeles institution since 1939, Pink’s Hot Dogs has shuttered its Planet Hollywood Resort location after eight years on the Strip.
Locally operated by Gen3 Hospitality, formerly known as Block 16 Hospitality, the company is directing diners to head to The Linq Promenade, where some of Pink’s celebrity-inspired creations will be incorporated into its Haute Doggery menu.
Three much smaller Pink’s Hot Dog outposts are also currently serving within the T-Mobile arena. An earlier expansion to the Red Rock Resort lasted just over a year.
Gen3 changed its name last fall, ahead of a trademark filing in January by the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas to create the highly anticipated Block 16 Urban Eatery & Bar concept. Its six diverse tenants will sit a few steps from the hospitality brand’s own Holsteins Shakes and Buns.
Also still under Gen3’s leadership, Public House at the Grand Canal Shoppes, The Barrymore, Flour & Barley Brick Oven Pizza at the Linq and Elephant Bar in Henderson.
A replacement for the fast casual Pink’s has yet to be announced.
