PALMS — How do the Vegas Golden Knights celebrate their inaugural season that ended with an appearance in the Stanley Cup Finals? By dining at Scotch 80 Prime. The now clean-shaven hockey players hit up the new steakhouse for dinner on Friday night. Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits presented the group with a 15-liter bottle of Moet Chandon engraved with the Vegas Golden Knights logo and a “Vegas Strong” message. MGM GRAND — Stanley Cup champions the Washington Capitals took their party to Hakkasan Nightclub to celebrate their first Stanley Cup after 43 years in the league on Thursday night. The team, led by captain Alex Ovechkin, entered club at 1 a.m. with the Stanley Cup in hand. Ovechkin hoisted the trophy overhead as he and his team made their way to their two VIP tables as deejay Tiesto worked the decks. Caps players Braden Holtby, T.J. RIO — Actor Omar Gooding allegedly went on a homophobic rant over the weekend against a customer who called him out for reportedly treating a restaurant employee poorly because his pizza was taking too long to make at the food court at the resort, TMZ reports. The gossip site reports: “The Family Time actor drops some very anti-family friendly F-bombs and shouts the other homophobic F-word twice — and calls him a ‘retard’ — while security shows up to diffuse the situation.” TMZ reached out to the actor, who says that he offered, ”My apologies for the offensive language, but that does not define who I am ... we calmly communicated, worked it out and all was forgiven.” [TMZ]
