The Buffet at T.I. temporarily shuttered earlier this month for a complete overhaul and updated details include a possible new name and revised timetable for its return.
Working with an estimated construction budget of $3,636,601, the space is dubbing itself the “Market Buffet” on plywood surrounding the 12,575-square-foot project. With plenty of work to be done, the buffet is currently aiming for an Aug. 8 relaunch, ”subject to change.” The resort has been upfront and actively warning guests about the possibility of sliding that debut date.
The changes will shrink the existing buffet footprint, handing over the western corner to a new and under construction sports bar, located right at the edge of the casino floor.
With a name still “to be announced,” the bar will also takeover a section of the former resort gift shop.
