All-you-can-eat sushi is no novelty in Las Vegas, but a menu of unlimited fresh oysters is far less common and Sea Salt Sushi & Oyster will offer both later this month.
Now scheduled to debut on June 28 at 11 a.m., W G Constructors has swiftly transformed the 3,260-square-foot empty space into a wood-paneled restaurant at the intersection of Bermuda and Silverado Ranch Boulevard.
A handful of chairs face the kitchen to watch the team prepare seafood imported from the west coast and Europe, overseen by executive chef Eric Lee.
A spin-off from locals Poke Poku and its Hawaiian poke selections, Sea Salt’s daily hours will be 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and opening at noon on Sunday.
On the menu, familiar sushi favorites, sashimi, tempura, meat, and vegetable skewer choices, maki, nigiri, and tempura rolls, grilled fish, noodles, and entrees including chicken katsu.
Appetizers of baked New Zealand mussels, or soft shell crab will join the provocatively named “monkey brain” dish, most probably a stuffed avocado or mushroom filled with cream cheese, tuna salmon, or crab.
