The Chicken Shack continues its loyal attachment to Henderson and the southeast, with a fifth Las Vegas outpost scheduled to debut in July.
The latest expansion will take over a 1,769-square-foot retail store at the Lake Mead Gateway Plaza, at the intersection of Boulder Highway and Lake Mead Parkway.
Local since 2005, a fourth Chicken Shack launched on Spencer Street earlier this year and has kept the tradition of its decorating walls with answers to the question of “why did the chicken cross the road?”
Promising more franchises are on the way, each current location is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and closing earlier at 8 p.m. on Sunday.
On the menu, wings, burgers, “hand-breaded fingers,” chicken sandwiches, the “Shack Salad,” and “homemade chili,” plus more than 20 free sauces, including “chipotle BBQ,” habanero honey, and the “damn hot.”
