A little later than first revealed, but still living up to its ambitious plans, The Wall Gaming Lounge has debuted at the Rio, creating the latest resort hub for casual and competitive esports fans.
Pitched as a destination for “eatertainment,” guests have access to 30 high performance Alienware gaming PCs and a collection of console gaming stations inside a neon- and dayglo-decorated lounge in the Rio’s Masquerade Village.
Planned to ultimately expand to a 25,000-square-foot venue by the end of the year, it will also add a “chef-driven” menu. Currently, The Wall is welcoming players and cosplayers to enjoy the lounge, order food from their mobile device and take advantage of the “pour-your-own tap wall” filled with 10 different beverages including espresso, energy drinks, hibiscus tea and kombucha.
