Yet to be announced by the family-owned company, or the landlords at the Sahara Durango Retail Shopping Center, the second Las Vegas home for Peg’s Glorified Ham n Eggs is headed to the westside.
Expanding from its Reno-base in September of last year, Peg’s very quickly established itself as a regular neighborhood haunt when it debuted on Eastern Avenue.
The second site will take over 4,480-square-foot corner spot recently vacated by the four-year-old Biscuits Cafe.
The retail hub sits a short distance from the Black Bear Diner and the intersection of Durango Drive and Sahara Avenue.
Launched in Reno in 1999 by husband-and-wife team Fred and Joanna, better known to the public as “Pops and Peg,” the business has expanded to seven Nevada restaurants.
The Henderson location is open daily from 6.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features a full menu including pancakes, “skillets,” Benedicts, Hawaiian-inspired choices, omelets, and “scrambles,” plus familiar lunch favorites and “Blue Plate specials,”
An estimated arrival date has not been revealed.
