If it keeps its planned debut date this September, The Derby Grill will be a rare full-service dining addition to its West Las Vegas neighborhood.
Self-described as “family-owned” and “upscale,” the ambitious project will serve “Southern Style Cuisine With A Touch of Class” at the Edmond Town Center, close to the intersection of Owens Avenue and North M.L.K. Boulevard.
The large 5,327-square-foot corner spot will create enough room for 146 guests in the dining room and 15 at the bar. The interior has been designed by the highly respected local team at KME Architects, an integral part of the Historic Westside School restoration project located a mile from this new restaurant.
The initial plan is for The Derby Grill to be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the week and closing at midnight on the weekend.
On the menu, “soul food” and “southern style favorites,” plus the owners special recipe for preparing “smothered chicken.”
