The Mirage’s new Italian restaurant jumps in on the brunch game. Diners can head to Osteria Costa every Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for breakfast favorites made with a Southern Italian twist.
The menu features organic eggs cacio e pepe commes as an omelet or a scramble with caciocavallo sauce and pecorino romano; baba al rhum toast with caramelized bananas and Nutella; lemon ricotta pancakes; avocado bruschetta on grilled sourdough bread with Calabrian chili oil, white-balsamic-pickled onions, and a poached egg; and linguine carbonara. Mushroom and egg pizza, bambolini Italian doughnuts, a prosciutto Benedict, baked eggs in purgatory, and a basket of baked goods also make the menu. Entrees range from $17 to $23.
Diners can order bottomless sangria, mimosas, bloody Marys, or Bellinis for $16.
Osteria Costa opened at the Mirage at the beginning of February. Executive chef Michael LaPlaca serves his last meal on June 14.
