A local success story has rapidly grown since 2014 and now Frijoles & Frescas is bringing its sixth casual Mexican outpost to Centennial later this year.
Promoting itself as “hands down the BEST Mexican food in Las Vegas,” the restaurant also encourages diners to “bring your appetite!” Frijoles will take over the corner, tall roofed, 3,050-square-foot former home of Al’s Donuts & Cafe Burger at the Tenaya Village commercial center.
Located at the intersection of Tenaya Way and Azure Drive, the retail hub is already home to a Capriotti’s and Timbers Bar & Grill.
Frijoles’ other locations around the valley are open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and until 10 p.m on Friday and Saturday. Each restaurant is closed on Sundays “to allow our employees to spend time with their families.”
On the menu, grilled tacos, “carne asada, marinated chicken, al pastor, grilled shrimp,” the very popular elote, “fire-grilled Mexican street corn,” and the namesake aguas frescas, a collection of strawberry, watermelon, pineapple, mango, chia, spinach, or cucumber beverages.
