If “all goes well,” the eastside will soon be enjoying a rare fast casual menu combo of poutine or pizza, paired with beer wine or Champagne.
Pushing for a July 30 opening, Fries N’ Pies will take over the 1,558-square-foot corner space at the intersection of Paradise Road and Harmon Avenue, across from the Hard Rock Hotel.
Replacing the shuttered Papaya King, operators Adam Sadie and chef Josh Green have revealed that diners can choose from a menu of unusual fry and pizza choices, prepared in single, “couple” or “company” sizes, with the pies available in 12-, 16- and 20-inch portions, or by the slice.
Already previewed, a Philly cheese steak poutine served over sweet potato or duck fat fries and a margherita roasted cauliflower poutine.
Planned opening hours will be from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily and not closing until 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 3 a.m. on Sunday.
