Address: Palace Station, 2411 W. Sahara Ave.
Hours: Open Monday through Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. for breakfast, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for lunch, and 4 to 9 p.m. for dinner; open Sunday for brunch from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and for dinner from 4 to 9 p.m.
Palace Station starts to reveal one of the biggest makeovers at the resort on Sahara Avenue as it unveils its renovated buffet. The 14,000-square-foot buffet originally debuted at the resort in 1988, ushering in an era of all-you-can-eat dining at the Station Casinos family of restaurants.
The revamped Feast Buffet features 394 seats and six stations with global cuisine that come together in The Hearth, Wok This Way, Blazing Grill, Health Favorite, The Carvery, and Just Desserts, all divided by cooking style instead of by cuisine.
The buffet, open from breakfast through dinner, features breakfast pizzas, pancake poppers, stuffed crescent rolls, a blistered BLT salad, watermelon feta salad, assorted Asian noodle salads, three-way pork belly, musubi, Spam fried rice, and more.
The desserts include carnival-inspired treats such as S’mores bites, doughnut ice cream sandwiches, caramel and candy apples, funnel cake, and zeppoles with palettas and gelato.
Station Casinos said this renovation, part of a $192 million revamp of the formerly railroad-themed resort, plans to be a prototype for future changes at buffets across the family of casinos.
Next for Palace Station, Boathouse Sushi and BBD’s with its butcher shop visible from the casino floor.
