The second local home for Joe Maxx Coffee Company will head four miles to the southeast, with the Ohio-born coffee shop already promising they have bigger plans to expand around the region.
Earning a loyal following for its beverage and casual dining menu, plus its ongoing commitment to vegan customers, the new Joe Maxx will sit next door to Chicken Shack at the Spencer Crossing retail center, close to the intersection of St. Rose Parkway and Spencer Street.
Unlike it predecessor, the space will not accommodate a drive-thru option.
Aiming for an end of August debut, the brand identity is built around a fictitious World War II pilot who transported coffee after the war. The original Las Vegas location at 500 E. Windmill Lane features comfortable seating areas and walls covered with work by local artists.
On the menu, “hot classics,” “signature pours,” served both hot or cold and frozen frappés or smoothies. Dining options like breakfast sandwiches, bagels, muffins and quiches join a series of wraps, including a peanut butter and granola creation.
