Announced last September, the eastside’s Cleaver will be much more than a traditional steakhouse menu created by Herbs & Rye owner Nectaly Mendoza,
Currently hiring and announcing on social media it is pushing for an August debut, Cleaver will take over the former home of Ruth’s Chris, Kelly’s Prime Steak & Seafood, and Toscano Italian Steakhouse at The Park at 3900 retail and office center on Paradise Road.
The impressive 8,000-square-foot corner space will be large enough to accommodate 300 customers between several dining rooms. A large large horseshoe bar and private dining area are also being added.
Few details have been shared since Nectaly’s official announcements last year, but the current restaurant logo promotes the Angus beef butchered in house, seafood, “classic cocktails,” and the yet to be explained promise of Cleaver’s own “grocery.”
