Las Vegas spends an average of 74 days a year above 100 degrees. That’s 74 excuses to eat gelato. The Italian indulgence, which is creamier than ice cream thanks to a more languorous churning process, is a perfectly decadent antidote to Las Vegas’ sweltering weather. As a result of its richer flavor profile, gelato is typically doled out in smaller portions — ideal for Las Vegas summer days that tend to melt ice cream faster than it can be devoured.
When temperatures hit the triple digits in Las Vegas, here’s where to cool down with some gelato.
