Chronic Tacos shuttered at the Flamingo Commercial Center at the beginning of the year and now Parsley Modern Mediterranean is well on its way to taking over the space, confidently predicting the makeover will be ready to debut later this summer.
The 2,422-square-foot corner spot, at the intersection of Flamingo and Ft. Apache roads, sits close to neighbors Fractured Prune doughnuts, Rolled Ice Cream and the recently opened KoKoRo Ramen.
The Parsley Modern Mediterranean counter-service concept launched in the southwest in 2011 and four years later expanded to Tropicana Avenue, not far from the Orleans resort.
The Flamingo restaurant will feature room enough for 70 customers, plus patio seating and a bar area to offer beer and wine. Stripped to the walls, the overhaul does not yet have an estimated opening date.
Expected to be open daily at 10 a.m., on the menu, choices of bowls, plates, salads, wraps, and baguettes to be customized with ingredients like chicken or steak shawarma, beef kabob, tuna and falafel, plus salads, veggie platters, curries, and the “Parlsey Nachos” prepared with home-made pita chips.
