Hailed as a California leader in experimenting with liquid nitrogen ice cream, Orange County’s wildly successful Creamistry has arrived in Las Vegas.
The dessert spot moves into the southwest's Rainbow Warm Springs Retail Plaza, a close neighbor to Metro Diner, Kung Fu Tea, and JinJu Chocolate. The bright interior allows diners to closely watch staff through billows of smoke as they prepare desserts mixed at negative 321 degrees.
Customers can choose from dozens of ingredients, first selecting between a $5.50 regular size, $8.50 large with a free vanilla waffle, or a $7.50 “nitroshake.”
Then a selection of milk or non-dairy bases is picked, followed by flavors and toppings, including cake, cereal, nut, fruit, and candy upgrades.
Also on the menu, ice cream sandwiches made with brownies and Fruity Pebbles, an affogato and “nitrofloat,” and a collection of pre-designed combinations including the “chocolate combustion, “ and “Captain’s Breakfast” made with Cap’n Crunch ice cream.
