Two locations for a highly praised, “artisanal,” small batch creamery are on the way to Las Vegas, looking to win over local audiences with quality and flavor, not fancy presentations.
Bainbridge Island, Washington-based Mora Ice Creamery will take over 1,380 square feet in front of the Double Helix Wine & Whiskey Lounge at Town Square and another home on Festival Plaza Drive in Downtown Summerlin.
Both sites are announcing they are “coming soon” and expected to scoop as many as 48 flavors. The full roster of 70 diverse choices features gianduja, marron glacé, and dulce de leche inspired by owners Ana Orselli and Jerry Perez’s home town of Buenos Aries, Argentina.
Other uncommon creations produced by the team includes goat cheese with figs, rose petal on Valentine's Day, and eggnog on Thanksgiving.
Also available, sorbets, sundaes, molten cake, brownies, root beer floats, and a banana split.
Future opening hours have yet to be revealed.
