Leticia’s Cocina plans to open a third location at Fiesta Henderson this fall.
Chef Leticia Mitchell brings Old World Mexican recipes inspired by her mother, such as molcajetes with grilled top sirloin, grilled nopales, shrimp, Oaxaca cheese, and homemade ranchera sauce. A queso fundido appetizer made with menonita and Oaxaca cheese topped with Mexican chorizo, sautéed onions, or mushrooms comes with homemade corn masa tortillas. The pozole rojo or blanco, empanadas, and chile rellenos also arrive at the restaurant.
This location plans to offer a happy hour every Monday through Friday from 2 and 6 p.m., and 6 to 7 p.m. only at the bar with $5 margaritas, 50 percent off wine, and $3 or $5 food items.
Tuesdays feature two-for-one margaritas and all-you-can-eat tacos every Monday for $24 per person.
The restaurant plans to be open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., then regular service resumes until 9 p.m.
Leticia’s already has a location in Centennial Hills and at Tivoli Village.
