The first Nevada expansion for Texas Roadhouse will be serving up steaks, “country dinners,” and seafood dishes in less than two months.
Creating an informal “restaurant row” at Craig Road and Bruce Street in North Las Vegas, the substantial 7,518-square-foot, built-from-scratch restaurant will officially launch in October, with unconfirmed social media postings suggesting an Oct. 22 debut date.
One of the most-requested national chains yet to move into the state, the family restaurant will sit close to the Cannery Casino & Hotel and be joined by the under construction Blaze Pizza, Cafe Rio, and the subs of Jersey Mike’s. A Habit Burger opened its doors a short walk from the roundhouse earlier this year.
Operating more than 450 national locations and noted for flying both an American and Texas state flag outside, the local interior will be large enough to host 273 diners at either tables or booth seating, and includes a “U” shaped bar in the middle of the restaurant.
On the large menu, “Texas-sized” burgers, sandwiches, steaks, and ribs and select locations offer 10-, 12-, and 16-ounce portions of prime rib. Also on the way, diners can expect a free bucket of shelled peanuts and house-made bread with cinnamon butter delivered to each table.
