The Venetian, Palazzo, and Grand Canal Shoppes all plan major changes to the restaurant and cocktail scene. Hot pots, kabobs, and more are on the way. Already AquaKnox and Public House departed in early 2019, Once from Ricardo Zarate closed permanently in early March 2020, and Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro and Lagasse’s Stadium opted not to reopen after closing in March 2020 to prevent the spread of COVID-19. X Pot and Kamu Ultra Karaoke opened at the Grand Canal Shoppes in 2020, while Estiatorio Milos opened in March 2021 at the Venetian and Brera Osteria opened the Grand Canal Shoppes in February. The Halal Guys departed to make way for a fast-casual churrascaria. SushiSamba has a huge renovation on the way. A fancy pants dart bar opens in 2022, while a new bakery out of New York City and an escape room with a lounge open at the Grand Canal Shoppes soon.
