More than two years since first uncovered, Chick-fil-A has once again filed plans to bring its fast-casual chicken menu to Las Vegas Boulevard.
Purpose built and featuring a drive-thru to entice drivers arriving from California, or on the way to and from McCarran International Airport, the site at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and George Crockett Road is one mile from the Las Vegas South Premium Outlets and just under two miles from the Mandalay Bay resort.
The new paperwork has allocated an estimated construction budget of $1.1 million for the build. Two years ago, Clark County granted permission for the empty plot to also add a new Starbucks.
No official announcement has been made and no estimated opening date has been revealed.
Next for the chicken sandwich kings, a confirmed under construction expansion that has demolished the west side’s Joe’s Crab Shack at 1991 N. Rainbow Blvd., close to Lake Mead Boulevard and the Best In The West Shopping Center.
