Lasting a year and a half at Boca Park, Shane Stuart’s “Organic Plant-Based Juice Bar and Eatery” Panacea has revealed it will soon close and is offering last-minute deals on food and drinks until an unannounced final date.
A sequel to the Grass Roots Juice Bar that shuttered at downtown’s John E. Carson Hotel in 2016, Panacea’s much delayed debut followed months of construction and finally took over the 702DTLV boutique, next door to another departed concept, The Mixx Grill & Lounge.
Alongside a “100% organic whole foods plant based menu,” the space scheduled “crystal workshops” and “sound healing” events. Before opening, the very ambitious plans had included “a weekly Ted-style speaker series that will be captured in real time with state of the art cameras with integrated Facebook Live streaming throughout our entire restaurant.”
This weekend featured the last brunch service, a new upgrade launched in July. During the remaining days, diners can take advantage of “35% OFF THE ENTIRE MENU, and 50% OFF all drink items while supplies last.”
Next for Boca Park, Jinya Ramen Bar will build its third local restaurant inside the shuttered American Apparel store, next door to Panera Bread. An estimated opening date for the noodle experts has yet to be posted.
