Paradise Cantina, a very popular destination at the Paradise Esplanade across from the Hard Rock Hotel, has returned after a few weeks of refurbishment with a new menu, new slots, and new owners.
Keeping its commitment to supporting all UNLV sports action, plus football and Golden Knights NHL games, the 2,996-square-foot bar sits next door to the under construction Big Chicken from Shaquille O’Neal, still hoping to debut by the end of the year.
Adding all new big screen TVs and open around the clock, the menu has also been upgraded, featuring smaller dishes like $10 queso fundido, $9 taquitos, and the $10 “Paradise Rolls,” plus $12 “Cantina street tacos,” $17 fajitas, a $13, half-pound “Southwest burger” and $14 blackened or fried mahi mahi tacos.
Across the parking lot, the first Las Vegas location for national chain Insomnia Cookies is open daily until 5 a.m. for customers craving a late-night snack of deluxe and traditional cookies, or brownies and ice cream sandwiches. Launched in July, the store will also accept delivery orders until 3 a.m.
To the east of the center, a corner space behind Dog Haus is currently on the market as a potential future home for a drive-thru restaurant.
