WESTSIDE — Now a buffet offers a nod back to the old days when chuck wagons served dishes late into the night to keep gamblers in the casino. Feast Buffet at Palace Station just introduced an overnight buffet that Station Casinos calls the “only overnight buffet available in Southern Nevada.” Diners heading to the buffet from midnight to 8 a.m. to dig into pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, biscuits, rotisserie chicken, cheeseburger sliders, baked cod, fried chicken, roasted pork, creamed corn, maple glazed carrots, Buffalo bleu mac and cheese, and more. The salad bar and dessert station also remain open. Prices start at $10.99. Of course, the 24-hour Grand Cafe soon undergoes a renovation of its own. [EaterWire]
LAS VEGAS — Diners who head to one of three Shake Shack locations on Wednesday, Sept. 19, will have 25 percent of their order donated to Easterseals Nevada, the nonprofit that serves more than 9,500 Nevadans with disabilities every year. From 11 a.m. until 10 p.m., individuals who bring in the Donation Day flyer or mention the promotion at The District at Green Valley Ranch, Downtown Summerlin, or Las Vegas North Premium Outlets make the donation.
