Two fast-casual arrivals at the Fashion Show mall’s third-floor food court give diners the choice of hot “wings with zesty Indian spices,” or a Strip spin on Mexican street-style tacos.
Wing Addiction replaced Chicken Connection with a menu of “never frozen, GMO free, no-anti-biotics, no hormones” dishes, served as tenders, or whole, not split, wings.
Also on the menu, chicken and waffles, cauliflower wings, and “loaded crispy tots.” Flavored mild to very hot, a “near death experience,” can be purchased for $3.99 per piece of chicken, lifted to extreme heat with “Carolina Reaper and Ghost Chili.” A waiver needs to be signed before the first bite.
Two counters over, Cartel Takos is offering a menu of “fresh Mexican street tacos, burritos, and desserts,” with options including carne asada tacos, chilaquiles, and horchata.
Operator Lovepreet Singh also runs India Masala Cuisine a few steps away and recently launched the 24-hour Indian menu at Mirchi, across from Mandalay Bay.
Cartel Takos serves daily 9.30 a.m. to 9 p.m., closing at 7 p.m on Sunday, and Wing Addiction is open every day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m, also closing at 7 p.m. on Sundays.
