First revealed back in April and now officially confirmed by operators Showa Hospitality, California-born concept The Taco Stand is updated as “coming soon” to Chinatown.
The hit, hip, Tijuana-inspired street taco venture opened its fourth West Coast expansion in January, followed by its first move into Miami a month later.
The Las Vegas site will take over 1,778 square feet at the base of the Lotus apartment complex at the corner of Spring Mountain Road and Procyon Street.
Branding this section The Shops at Lotus, The Taco Stand will sit next to chef Eric Kim’s Kame, a 3,295-square-foot sequel to his Summerlin restaurant, Kame Omakase. The third dining tenant has yet to be revealed.
On The Taco Stand menu, a full collection of tacos, burritos, handmade corn tortillas and guacamole and salsas made from scratch daily, plus “Mexican flavored popsicles, refreshments, imported beer, and freshly prepared Rosarito-style churros.”
