The latest global brand to find a home on Spring Mountain Road proudly declares itself to be “China’s most popular noodle brand” and is already a Canadian hit with its first expansions into Montreal and Toronto.
Dagu Rice Noodle will move into the under construction center at 4284 Spring Mountain Road, next to Magal BBQ and across from the Chinatown Plaza landmark.
Investing a healthy $284,000 in estimated construction costs, paperwork has only recently been filed and an estimated opening date, or official announcement of the move to Las Vegas has not been posted.
The Dagu Rice specialty dishes include the noodle soups prepared with a braised, bone-in, pork broth, delivered to the table boiling hot, similar to a hot pot. Diners then add their ingredients, creating the famous “crossing the bridge” style dish and can take advantage of unlimited free noodle refills.
Also on the menu, sliced beef and ox tongue in chili sauce, salty crispy chicken, and deep-fried pumpkin pancakes with red bean paste. Among the beverage choices, strawberry, mango, and watermelon variations on cheese tea.
