The 40,000-square-foot Eataly at the front of the Park MGM already has six takeaway counters, a café, three bars, an educational chef’s table, and 5,000-plus retail products. Now a restaurant gets ready to open on Jan. 23. Update: now a publicist says it will not open on that date.
Manzo, which means “beef” in Italian, celebrates all things meat, a sort of butcher’s restaurant. At the Manzo in New York, the menu features steaks, quail, Italian sausage, porchetta, and prosciutto, although a publicist notes that this restaurant “isn’t an exact replica of the NY location.”
The open dining room sits next to Gran Caffè Milano, the bar area that serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between, and stays open overnight and near La Pizza e La Pasta at the front of the resort with its own menu of sit-down fare.
Manzo in New York City takes advantage of the fresh product that changes weekly and arrives from regional producers who sell meat, vegetables, and pastas. The expansive bar features an elevated wine program in New York City.
In New York, the restaurant is open from Sunday to Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
