Las Vegas is waiting for the imminent arrival of Maui Tacos in the southwest, The Taco Stand in Chinatown, and following the swift departure of Bomb Tacos downtown, another new taco-centric concept has very quickly stepped in to take its place.
Santos Guisados Tacos & Beer will soon move into the 1,414-square-foot corner space at 616 Carson Ave., close to the corner of Carson Avenue and Sixth Street. Already hiring and applying for permits to install new signage, the restaurant is expected to eventually be open for lunch and dinner. It is also not believed to be connected with Firefly owner John Simmons’ four-year old Tacos & Beer on Paradise Road.
The restaurant has not revealed a menu or future opening hours. Since 2015 the Santos space has also been home to Zydeco Po-Boys and the Mediterranean creations of the Two Bald Brothers.
