Designed by owners Kelly and Cory Mazzola to function as a “community coffee shop,” Zen Coffee Bar not only concentrates on a quality cup of java, but also pours mimosas, beer, wine, matcha, craft drinks and boba beverages.
The airy, 1,800-square-foot space at the Sunridge Village Plaza sits a short distance from The Sugar Cookie and Osaka Japanese Bistro at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Sunridge Heights Parkway.
Featuring tables and chairs and a large, centrally positioned sofa, customers can pre-order from the online menu to pick up on arrival.
Among the coffee creations, a $3.50 affogato, chocolate and hazelnut espressos, toasted almond mochas, Vietnamese cold brew options, and Bulletproof Coffee “blended with grass-fed butter.”
Light bites include the soup of the day, $6 avocado toast, artisanal chocolate available by the piece, a $12 antipasti platter, and Belgian waffles, also served with optional ice cream.
