Scooter’s Coffee Finds Its First Home in Las Vegas

The Midwest franchise expands to the southeast

A rival in scope and menu to Dutch Bros. Coffee, Nebraska-born drive-thru concept Scooter’s Coffee has found is first location in Las Vegas.

Planned to evolve into “over 1,000 stores by the end of 2023,” locally the franchise will build a drive-thru coffee kiosk at the entrance to the Warm Springs Plaza, close to the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Warms Springs Road. The retail center is already home to Maria’s Taco Shop and Rosati’s Pizza.

Created in 1998, the company is best known for its “caramelicious” line of beverages and placing a smiley face sticker on each cup. On the menu, coffee, teas, smoothies, and iced drinks, plus muffins, cookies, burritos, bagel sandwiches, scones, coffee cakes, oatmeal, and “birthday cake pops.”

Current plans call for no indoor seating at this location. Yet to be announced by the operators, a projected opening date has not be unveiled.
