Juniper Cocktail Lounge at Park MGM brings in cocktails and more from New York’s The Dead Rabbit Grocery & Grog during a special pop-event this Friday, Jan. 18, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The event features a book signing by The Dead Rabbit beverage director Jillian Vose, a special menu of The Dead Rabbit cocktails for customers to purchase, and live entertainment.
Co-authored by Vose and venue founders Sean Muldoon and Jack McGarry, The Dead Rabbit Mixology & Mayhem: The Story of John Morrissey and the World’s Best Cocktail Menu is a graphic novel and cocktail book that features 100 recipes, each telling a story through artistic menus. The authors pulled real events and people in New York City into the book that is set in the 1970s and follows a rabbit-man hybrid named John Morrissey, who is influenced by a real Irish-born, New York mobster from the 1850s. Cocktails such as Superhuman and Smooth Talker come from the story, which unfolds over six chapters. Full recipes are included. Books are $30 each and will be available at Juniper during the special event only.

Admission to the event is free to those 21 years of age and older.
