Local cuisine at the airport just got a big boost. Kim Canteenwalla, a co-founder of Blau + Associates restaurant group, took over the menus at American Express’ Centurion Lounge at McCarran International Airport. Starting today, the chef behind Honey Salt and Andiron Steak & Sea in Downtown Summerlin serves a seasonally inspired menu with local and regionally sourced ingredients.
American Express Platinum and Centurion Card Members traveling through LAS will now be able to order both healthy and indulgent options from Canteenwalla and his wife and business partner Elizabeth Blau’s restaurant Honey Salt. Local Las Vegas favorites will include Kim’s weekend frittata, the grain power salad, green goodness juice, and kale and Anaheim pepper mac ’n cheese. Selections will also feature Grandma’s turkey meatballs and brioche caramel bread pudding and mini monkey bread.
The menu will continue to rotate on a seasonal basis.
The lounge is located in Concourse D, opposite Gate D1. The concourse is accessible from Terminal or Terminal 3 via the transit system.
