Revealed back in November, wildly popular San Francisco-based chain Ike’s Love & Sandwiches plans to debut two Las Vegas location by this spring and one of its landlords has released details of an exact location for the future home of “Dirty Sauce” and Dutch Crunch bread.
Initially hoped to be ready by “Jan or Feb,” Ike Shehadeh’s concept will move into the ground floor of the under-construction, eight-story University Gateway building. The counter-service space will be located across Maryland Parkway from Smashburger and In-N-Out Burger, a convenient walk for UNLV staff and students.
Ike’s will occupy 1,534 square feet on the ground floor of the northern side of the building, next door to an America First Credit Union. Two spaces to the south, Peet’s Coffee will move into a 1,337-square-foot space, its second local home after launching in Summerlin last year. Tenants for the seven remaining retail opportunities on the same floor have yet to be announced.
Ike’s is still promised to be coming soon to the Strip’s Fashion Show mall, serving its menu of dozens of creative sandwiches, served on French, San Francisco sourdough, whole wheat, or gluten-free breads.
Estimated opening dates for both locations have yet to be updated.
