The long wait for Filipino fast food experts Jollibee’s expansion to the southwest is over.
The restaurant, first revealed back in June 2017, features a drive-thru and a 2,500-square-foot interior, larger than its two predecessors. The counter-service space joins the Southwest Marketplace retail hub, close to the corner of Windmill Lane and Rainbow Boulevard, already home to Kulinarya Express Filipino Kitchen and Doh Korean BBQ.
On the menu, the famous “Chickenjoy” fried chicken, “Jolly Spaghetti,” the “Palabok Fiesta,” the “Yum Burger,” sides of butter corn or rice, and desserts including an “Ube Pearl Cooler” and “Halo-Halo.”
Still open at Village Square and inside the eastside’s Seafood City supermarket, plans filed for a fourth Jollibee restaurant at Henderson’s Eastern Commons retail center have yet to be announced by the company.
