Right on schedule, Mandalay Bay is almost ready to unveil its latest lounge experience, located a few steps from the casino floor and designed to entice customers for coffee and light fare during day and a live music and cocktail environment in the evening.
Officially debuting in “early February,” Hazel Coffee & Cocktails has transformed the former Orchid Lounge space, close to the hotel lobby.
The opulent look by designers Bishop Pass includes “gold lounge sofas, green velvet chairs or cobalt-blue Chesterfield banquettes.” A large marble-top bar awaits cocktails created MGM Resorts International executive director of beverage Craig Schoettler.
On the menu, a collection of beverages from Lamill Coffee, including the “Hazel Cortado,” “Flat Whites” and a “Caffee Misto”
Breakfast sandwiches include the “applewood-smoked bacon, egg, sharp cheddar on brioche” and morning pastries of vanilla bombolini, a maple pecan sticky bun, and banana walnut mascapone cake.
Loungers looking for a later bite, can enjoy pesto turkey, or grilled chicken sandwiches and an arugula salad.
