The highly anticipated Shanghai Plaza retail hub launching on Spring Mountain Road later this year is importing a pan-Asian collection of new dining and retail concepts, including brands making their first expansions into the United States.
Arriving from China and Canada, Dagu Rice Noodle is the only current restaurant to announce a precise debut date, opening across from local landmark Chinatown Plaza.
Hosting a countdown clock to an “opening ceremony” at 10 a.m. on Feb. 10, future hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the week and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m from Friday to Sunday
Self-described as “China’s most popular noodle brand,” the Dagu Rice specialty dishes include noodle soups prepared with a braised, bone-in, pork broth, delivered to the table boiling hot, similar to a hot pot.
Canadian locations have also featured sliced beef and ox tongue in chili sauce, salty crispy chicken, and deep-fried pumpkin pancakes with red bean paste.
