Above The Crust Pizza Expanding to the Southeast

Local success story Above the Crust is expanding from its two current locations, making a move more than 23 miles to the southeast and bringing its casual, East Coast-inspired menu.

Styled as a neighborhood pizzeria, the new corner location is under construction at 8334 S. Maryland Parkway, close to Windmill Lane, joining a salon, pet groomer, and two future tenants.

Launched in 2014 and operated by the present owners since 2016, Above the Crust is based in the northwest at 7810 W. Ann Road and five miles to the east at 5585 Simmons Street in North Las Vegas.

Actively civic-minded, the pizzeria created a “Dine out for Dough” program that “supports many local schools, churches and sports organizations” and also offers daily discounts to “first responders, seniors, veterans – active and retired and their families.”

Joining a menu of “pizza, wing & things,” future guests should expect a roster of salads, Italian and meatball parm subs, calzones, stromboli, baked rigatoni, and gluten-free pizza options.

While construction appears well underway, an updated opening date has yet to be announced.
