Clique Hospitality released new details on its new speakeasy cocktail lounge replete with a barbershop going into the former Bond space at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Andy Masi, the founder of Clique Hospitality, along with nightlife partners Ryan Labbe and Jason Craig, plan to open The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails in the space in spring 2019.
On the barbershop side of the space, visitors can get a classic cut, beard trim, or straight razor shave, overseen by master barber Jose Sosa and his grooming team. The New York native moved to Las Vegas in 2013 to work as a professional concierge barber, and even styled some of Las Vegas’ most notable icons.
By night, the space offers live entertainment and a cocktail program with riffs on vintage favorites.
Customers enter through what’s described as an “unassuming janitor’s door located within The Barbershop. The Prohibition-era bar features a bar that originated in Kentucky in the 1800s and appeared in the motion picture The Greatest Showman. A barrel-aged whiskey program, craft beers, and a collection of whiskeys make the menu. Overhead, crystal chandeliers. Live bands, deejays, and rock star karaoke take place on a “now-you-see-it-now-you-don’t performance stage” at the far end of the room.
Back in October, Cosmopolitan estimated a construction budget of $1.8 million to revamp the space.
Clique Hospitality also has Clique Bar & Lounge at the resort.
