Much quicker than expected, the surprise off-Strip White Castle expansion is already hiring for its 24-hour, fast-casual restaurant, headed into a corner building across from the Hard Rock Hotel and Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas.
Still to be officially announced, the future home of “steam-grilled-on-a-bed-of-onions sliders” will replace the shuttered Checkers outpost at the intersection of Paradise Road and Harmon Avenue.
The revamped location will features a drive-thru and a hard-to-miss illuminated revolving sign on the roof, remodeled inside with an estimated construction budget of $68,000, a low number that hints at a speedy makeover for the 2,670-square-foot, counter-service space.
White Castle arrived on the Strip in 2015, expanded downtown in 2017, and last year moved inside the Terrible’s Road House travel center in Jean, Nevada.
The busy Shoppes at Harmon Square retail center is already home to Fries N’ Pies, Roberto’s Taco Shop, and Shinya Maru Ramen & Izakaya.
