One of the most anticipated restaurants of the year is ready to debut in Downtown Summerlin, boosted by a seasonal menu inspired by Dr. Andrew Weil’s anti-inflammatory food pyramid, an early investment and endorsement by Oprah Winfrey, and a bright airy interior to match its upbeat, conscious nutrition mantra.

The first of two local expansions for True Food Kitchen, the lifestyle brand will arrive on the Strip in early 2020, but the Summerlin restaurant’s launch this week takes full advantage of a covered patio and open-plan design.

Diners can opt for seating at the bar, on stools at long, tall tables, or in green-hued booths beneath planters of herbs and spices.

Among the eco-friendly touches, the light, hardwood floors and dining chairs created from recycled soda bottles.

With room for 190 at lunch, dinner, or weekend brunch, a Monday to Friday social hour promotion is built around $5 small plate dishes, cocktails, beer, or wines by the glass.
