True Food Kitchen debuts today in Downtown Summerlin. with a menu created to appeal to committed healthy food advocates as well as patrons and novices still looking for a pizza or a burger.
The 7,277-square-foot space in the northern Dining Arroyo section of the shopping center was previously occupied by Crave American Kitchen & Sushi Bar. True Food Kitchen overhauled the interior, creating an open plan and light-filled dining room, accented with eco-friendly fixtures and year-round access to a covered outdoor patio.
The restaurant, open for lunch, dinner and a weekend brunch, offers a seasonally shifting menu, mindful of never fake or artificial ingredients. Current fall-inspired dishes include butternut squash soup, roasted Brussels sprouts, the vegan Unbeetable burger, and a cauliflower polenta bowl.
The menu includes salads and sandwiches for a lighter meal, as well as larger entrees such as Thai coconut sea bass, grass-fed steak tacos, and fennel chicken sausage lasagna Bolognese.
The prominent bar offers beer, wine, and cocktails, plus a range of alternative beverages, including organic and gluten-free spirits, freshly pressed juices, and organic teas.
True Food Kitchen, 10970 Rosemary Park Drive, Suite 160, 702-863.1000. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., closing at 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and serving brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
