While the northwest awaits the arrival of Thai Spoon at the Centennial Square retail hub later this month, another newcomer has already debuted a lengthy Thai menu, including its own spin on vegan and vegetarian dining.
Secret of Siam replaces the vacant former home of Novecento pizzeria, shuttered since March. A Centennial Center resident for six years, all signs of of Marc Sgrizzi’s 900-degree pizza oven have been covered over and the casual dining room is now home to lunch specials, a sliding scale of heat attached to its spicy dishes and house special tilapia, charbroiled prawns, and salmon teriyaki dishes.
Healthy secret appetizers include crispy spinach tempura, tofu satay, and vegetarian sausage, or diners can opt for pork and shrimp dumplings, fish cakes, and beef jerky.
Fried rice choices and the yellow, red, green, and panang curries can be customized with roasted duck, squid, scallops, or green mussels and more familiar pad Thai, pad see ew, and drunken noodle creations join more than 10 noodle soups, headlined by fiery, creamy seafood recipes.
