Big Whiskey’s American Restaurant & Bar may have shuttered at Town Square earlier this month, but closer to Las Vegas Boulevard, its casual dining hub remains a hot bed of activity, with a Korean barbecue restaurant debuting its conveyor belt-inspired delivery system soon.
First revealed back in January, Master Kim’s Korean BBQ is currently hiring and applicants are being told to expect a mid-November opening at The Landing, a short distance from established neighbors Cafe Rio Mexican Grill and The Broken Yolk Café.
Created by the owners of Sapporo Revolving Sushi, Master Kim’s all-you-can-eat menu is grilled at each diner’s seat and can be upgraded with à la carte options, including meats swiftly delivered via an automated track.
Taking over a space originally reserved for Big Whiskey’s before its ill-fated residency at the rear of Town Square, Master Kim’s will join Bok Bok Chicken later this fall, plus two unannounced future tenants, Tikka Shack’s “casual and fresh Indian grub“ and the customizable salads of Chop Stop.
The barbecue restaurant’s future hours have not been shared, but its one-year-old location in Spring Valley is open daily from 11.30 a.m. to midnight.
Still on the way to Town Square, the long-awaited arrival of Mora Iced Creamery and the first expansion for Pho Kim Long, a Vietnamese dining favorite in Chinatown for more than a decade.
