The latest Bad Owl Coffee Roasters expansion has an updated timetable for serving up butterbrew lattes and lunch favorites downtown.
Originally created as a Harry Potter-inspired venue, the Bad Owl brand has matured to become focused on “serious coffee, with a hint of magic” at its Henderson and southwest cafes.
The downtown branch is now promised to debut in early November, replacing a shuttered Starbucks on the ground floor of the Bank of America Plaza at the intersection of Fourth Street and Bridger Avenue.
Currently hiring baristas, future employees are being advised the coffee shop will serve a full lunch menu, expected to import choices found in Henderson, including sandwiches, pastries, waffles, quiche, and toast prepared with avocado, or pear and prosciutto.
Still to announce its future opening hours, coffee fans in the neighborhood will also be able order Bad Owl’s affogatos, cortados, nitro brews, and very popular lavender lattes.
